Waste paper

Waste paper is our most important raw material. With a recycled paper content of 80%, we focus on reuse and conserve valuable resources. Yesterday’s newspaper becomes tomorrow’s newspaper.

Our wood comes from sustainably managed forests in the region and waste wood from sawmills. Short transportation routes and resource-saving processing ensure an environmentally friendly end product.

Water

Water is an indispensable part of our production process. In our waste water treatment plant (WWTP), the largest in the canton of Lucerne, the water used is treated to the highest quality standards and fed back into the cycle.

Energy from renewable sources such as biomass and hydropower: we cover part of our requirements through in-house production and use waste heat efficiently to further reduce our carbon footprint.
