Application

What should my application include?

A complete application consists of three essential parts: your CV, your letter of motivation and your copies of certificates. Before you send your documents, make sure that all the required documents are included.

Where can I submit my application documents?

It’s simple: here you can see which apprenticeships are currently open. Click on “Apply now” for your desired apprenticeship, fill out the form and keep your fingers crossed!

What do we look for in your application?

Make sure that your application has a professional appearance and is well-structured, informative and easy to understand. Don’t forget to make sure that all the required documents – your CV, letter of motivation and certificates – are included in full.

How can I find out more about the apprenticeships?

On our “Apprentices” subpage, you will find all the information about all our apprenticeships. Here you can find out which one is right for you and what requirements you need to meet.

Can I apply for different apprenticeships at the same time?

If you are not yet sure which apprenticeship is right for you, you can apply for various positions with us. It is important for you and us to choose the apprenticeship that suits you best. We offer eight apprenticeships in a wide range of areas, from production to the office. A taster day gives you the opportunity to get to know the professions and teams better.

Can I complete the vocational baccalaureate during my apprenticeship?

Yes, but only for some apprenticeships. It is possible to complete the vocational baccalaureate for the following apprenticeships if your school grades meet the requirements: Automation technician EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ, commercial clerk EFZ and computer scientist EFZ.

When will I receive feedback on my application?

We will get in touch with you as soon as possible. You should hear back from us within five working days at the latest.

Interview

What should I pay attention to in my appearance?

First impressions count: Appear freshly groomed and in clean clothes that you feel comfortable in. Ideally, you should choose an outfit that matches the apprenticeship you are applying for. A polo shirt and nice black trousers or jeans combined with clean shoes are a safe bet.

Where does the interview take place?

It is advisable to inform yourself thoroughly about how to get to the location of your interview. Make sure that you allow enough time in case there are delays with public transport so that you can still arrive on time for the interview.

Delay – what to do?

Easy, that can happen, stay cool and contact us by phone. This will allow us to react quickly and inform your contact person.

Last control check before the interview?

If you still have some time left, pay a quick visit to the toilet to freshen up. If you still have chewing gum in your mouth, take it out and put your cell phone on silent.

How can I stand out positively in a job interview?

  • Prepare yourself thoroughly and find out about the company.
  • Greet your counterpart by name.
  • Listen carefully to what your conversation partner is saying and ask if you don’t understand something – this signals that you are paying attention.
  • Give open and clear information about yourself, your interests and ideas.
  • Answer questions about your motivation and strengths honestly.
  • Actively ask questions about the company, the industry or the apprenticeship: this shows your genuine interest in the position.

No answer? Stay cool!

Keep calm. Mistakes happen to everyone and nobody knows the answers to all questions. Your counterpart is also aware of this. The important thing is that you remain calm, optimistic and positive.
