This is what the training looks like
Your training will include maintenance and assembly work on our gigantic, modern systems, the production of parts and system documentation. We will train you in the “Maintenance” specialization.
The apprenticeship lasts 4 years and you will obtain the Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ). You also have the opportunity to complete the vocational baccalaureate. You will attend vocational school one or two days a week.
In the first and second year of your apprenticeship, you will work in our workshop and manufacture spare parts for our systems. You will acquire basic skills in turning, drilling and milling.
From the third year of your apprenticeship, you will be part of the maintenance team and carry out inspections on the production systems.
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will have all the technical skills you need for your next career move.
What you need to bring
Is math your strength, are you talented with your hands, do you enjoy working with metal and have a good imagination? Jackpot, then this versatile profession is ideal for you!
You have a level B secondary school diploma with good math grades.

Professional examination with federal certificate
e.g. production specialist, aircraft technician – mechanics / avionics, automation specialist, technical business management assistant.
Higher technical examination for industrial foreman.
Higher technical college
e.g. qualified technician HF mechanical engineering, qualified technician HF electrical engineering, qualified technician HF systems engineering, qualified technician HF microtechnology.
University of Applied Sciences
With the appropriate educational background, e.g. Bachelor of Science (FH) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering or automotive and vehicle technology.
