Logistician EFZ
This is what the training looks like
As a logistics specialist, you will manage our warehouses. This includes transportation, distribution, purchasing and disposal. At Perlen Papier you will be trained in the “Warehouse” specialization.
The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and you will obtain the Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ). You will attend vocational school one day a week.
After each semester, you will change departments and get to know different areas and employees. You will load our paper rolls into trucks or rail cars using clamp stackers.
During one semester, you will work as part of the team at our sister company Perlen Packaging AG. There you will learn how to load and unload high-bay warehouses with cross-seat reach trucks.
What you need to bring
For an apprenticeship as a logistician, you need good observation skills, a great deal of reliability and an understanding of technical contexts.
You have a secondary school leaving certificate with at least level C.

e.g. logistician, logistics specialist, transport and logistics dispatcher, international freight forwarding and logistics specialist
Higher professional examination
E.g. logistician with federal diploma, certified logistics manager, certified supply chain manager, certified operations manager in transport and logistics
Higher technical college
E.g. qualified process technician HF
University of Applied Sciences
E.g. Bachelor of Science (FH) in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
