This is what the training looks like
You look for the causes of faults and rectify them on our complex systems and program solutions for control and automation tasks.
You will train with us in the field of maintenance and work with other specialists to build electrical controls, plant or automation systems on our large and state-of-the-art machines.
The apprenticeship lasts 4 years and you will obtain the Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ); you also have the option of completing the vocational baccalaureate.
In the first half of your apprenticeship, you will carry out installations and rectify faults in the electrical service. In the second half of your apprenticeship, you will support our system specialists and work in the maintenance team on overhauls of our production systems.
What you need to bring
Do you have technical and electrical interests and logical thinking skills? Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you like working on a PC and in a team? Then you’ll fit in perfectly with us!
You have completed secondary school at level A or a solid level B with a good grade in mathematics.

Professional examination (BP)
With federal certificate, e.g. automation specialist, project and workshop manager in switchgear construction or production specialist
Higher professional examination (HFP)
E.g. master craftsman in switchgear and automation with a federal diploma or certified production manager in industry.
Higher technical college
E.g. qualified systems engineer HF, qualified electrical engineer HF or qualified mechanical engineer HF
University of Applied Sciences
Degree courses in related subject areas, e.g. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Different admission requirements apply depending on the university of applied sciences.
