We are „recycler“!

Our two paper machines produce more than 550.000 metric tons of paper per year: paper prints, improved paper prints and LWC magazine paper.

Two main raw materials are used to produce our paper:

Recycled paper:

The 400.000 metric tons of recycled paper is mainly sourced from Swiss household collections. It is being cleaned and as DIP-raw material (de-inked pulp) used to produce paper prints.

Mechanical pulp:

The main raw material of our LWC paper consists of approximately 120.000 metric tons of thermo-mechanical pulp (TMP). This material derives from sawing mills, cut wood, mostly from native spruce.
